Our close-knit organization of passionate and fiercely independent music venue owners and operators are committed to retaining and nurturing the fragile, yet complex ecosystem of every individual aspect of our famous music scene here in Nashville, TN. We seek to enlighten, educate and heighten awareness of what it means to be truly independent, and in this mission of advocacy and renewed appreciation, we hope to ensure many more decades of passion-fueled small business success and prosperity.

Our values are as Nashville-centric as they are passionate, and thereby the antithesis of big corporate focus, which measures success strictly by a bottom-line financial unit. We value, art, effort, enthusiasm, originality, and talent above any other gauge of success.
Our Vision
We envision a continuing and uniquely Nashville-centric music system, not for just original artists, but also the technical and supportive personnel that make the business of music possible, including irreplaceable talent buyers, lighting professionals, sound engineers, stage and production managers, program curators, security specialists, public relations and marketing representatives, promoters, box office staff, and certainly our vast hospitality teams.
Our Goals
Collectively, our central goal is to stay and remain as wholly independent organizations, in full and continuing control of our own calendars, every aspect of our employment structures, and all elements of our production and infrastructure. We commit to a “no surrender” model of retaining control of our businesses, maintaining independent ownership and singular control over our booking, talent-buying, and calendar.
